About Madison Care Centre

The Madison Care Centre offers licensed and funded residential care to 137 clients, in which 96 of these beds are funded through the Fraser Health Authority. The Madisons room types include primarily single and double rooms. The building was beautifully constructed and opened in 2008.

The Madison Care Centre works in collaboration with the Fraser Health Authority to offer funded beds, but we also have private pay rooms available.


What You’ll Do
As an HCA, you’ll play a vital role in providing resident-centered care. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Provide holistic personal, emotional and psychosocial care to residents
  • Provide personal hygiene, oral care, skincare, toileting, bathing, feeding, dressing, and grooming
  • Use a variety of specialized equipment such as electric beds, mechanical lifts, tubs, and wheelchairs
  • Actively participate in facility meetings and education programs.
  • Assist in admission, discharge, and transfer of residents.
  • Ensure the highest resident safety and well-being
  • Monitor, report, and document changes in resident’s health status

What You Bring
  • Graduate from an approved Care Aide, RCA, Nursing assistant, or PSW program
  • Registered and in good standing with the BC Care Aide Registry
  • Must have a  valid Canadian work permit
  • Current First Aid, WHMIS and Food Safe Certificates.
  • Must be in good health and be physically able to perform all aspects of the position.
  • Previous experience in Long Term Care is preferred.
  • COVID-19 Immunization Certificate
